Here's the second room we have worked on. It's Chava's room. We used a little bit of a different texture. After a little break we are back to work trying to make the house a little more livable. Are major goal is to have our room ready before Thanksgiving, only three weeks to go.

This week is the last week of the second six weeks. After much suffering and hard work, volleyball season is over. My team did pretty well they won half and lost half if they had been a little less twitchy they could have won more. I was really proud of their improvement, they were actually running plays before the season ended. Unfortunately we only had one week off before basketball season started and we will be into the full swing of things next week. Sigh... I have to admit coaching and teaching is still pretty tiring. Other than that and the house and other stuff life is pretty smooth.

So after many many weeks of packing and remodeling and unpacking and organizing and pitching and everything else that goes into moving we are safetly ensconed in our new house. Sorry I haven't updated in awhile things have been a bit out of control.
Between volleyball season and moving life has been more than full. Well and of course all the craziness happening in my family.
But I thought you might enjoy a few pictures of the new house. This first one is a picture of The Twelve easy steps to resurfacing a wall. This all started when Rene realized there was wallpaper that had been painted over in our rooms. And then we started picking at it a little and then we started ripping wallpaper down. At the time it was just really fun, like peeling glue off your hand. Of course at some point you realize that you have to do something about the now bedraggled walls. So after much research and at least fifteen trips to Lowe's we decided to retexture our walls. It's a lot of work but the end result was really fun.
