The Day where there was orange
So it's halloween and can't really say that we are doing anything that Halloweeny except passing out candy. But apparently in Chicago they take the 31st seriously. This is a picture of a fountain preped for Halloween from when we were in Chicago.
Definitly fun. Let's see today was a boring day filled with a useless workshop. I got a lot of grading done but you know when your suppossed to be learning something that can be a little annoying. But in good news this has been a slow week so far so I can't really complain.

The bean and the blogging
This is a picture I took from inside "The bean" in Chicago. Yes Rene and I were in Chicago and if you look hard enough you can find us many many times in the picture.
Now some of you are saying Chicago, when did you go to Chicago, why did you go to Chicago, I don't remember you saying anything about Chicago.
I feel like the above picture is an apt descriptor of my life at present, a swirly mix of light and reflection. I have been really busy and overwhelmed by being busy and caught up in the spiral of busyness and tiredness. Therefore I haven't blogged even one little bit in a month or so.
I am going to try to remedy that situation, but as we all know such declarations tend to have a shelf life shorter than milk so we'll see.
As for Chicago, Rene's friend Sandra was getting married and he did the flowers for her wedding and I flew up to join him. It was crazy and fun and fast and not what I would call restful. But I will try to share in future bloggings about such things.
