So I am presently typing this update from Rene's laptop since I have successfully shut down my computer at home and at work. By shut down I mean blue screen of death shut down. Jonathan says my home computer is fixable or at the very least I can get all my pictures, writings, and important documents. The school computer is not so lucky it is dead and unretrievable.
Yesterday the teacher I share a room with set me up with a laptop computer. I plugged that computer into my net TV at which point it began to smoke. And I do mean actually smoking. I quickly pulled the wires out. So far it doesn't seem to have caused any permanent damage. But still.
Rene is a little nervous about me using his laptop so I'll keep this short. Not much going on other than lots of work, church stuff, prepping for Urbana, and well okay maybe there's a lot going on perhaps too much.
I am trying hard to stay focused and not be overwhelmed. And in that vein, gotta go.
