Rene and I are here in McKinney. I am doing a campus visit to UNT, although I am not really sure why. Rene is hoping to visit with some of our old supporters.
It will be good to see the family and hang out some and hopefully (crossing my fingers) rest some.
Mom's house is slowly coming together. It looks pretty good, there are not quite as many boxes as the last time we were here.
I am still tired, a little sick, and don't have much to say. BUT I'm trying, unlike other people I know to update.

This week has been FULL of drama at school. Drama with the administration, drama with students, drama with parents. I am needless to say tired of school. And it was the end of the 6 weeks so I was working and working on grades all week. 12 weeks left in the year and I am counting down.
To top it all off I managed to get sick this weekend with a killer cold and feel pretty poopie. So when I could have been having fun and rcovering from the drama instead I want to just lay on the couch and blend in. I did manage to stain some more of the cabinets this weekend. We have kind of started our last push to get the kitchen and the living room complete.
Anyway all in all I feel worn. My job is wearing me down, my cold is wearing me down, and the never ending home renovation is wearing me down.
BLAH!

See that's my tag line. It's what I say to my friends and family after they haven't heard from me for a prolonged amount of time. I have to admit keeping up with people on a regular basis is definitly one of my greater weaknesses. So to all my friends and family members whose phone calls I haven't returned and have not heard from me via email, phone calls, birthday cards, or snail mail. I'm sorry I'm bad at all those things, but I do care about you.
Nothing much new to add about my life. Basketball season is over and I am relieved. Of course in the week since it's been over I've been pretty consistently sick including this weekend. So that hasn't been fun although being done with so much before school and after school time drain will be nice.
In other news I mailed off the final part of my application to UNT Friday. So I am actually on the road to making a major life transition. Go me...
In repetitive news: I'm teaching, I'm tired, my house is not finished, and I watch a lot of TV
Gotta go
