So Sunday we were going out to lunch with some friends after church, when they pulled up and said a tornado touched down in Lubbock and we should probably seek shelter. Looking around at a fairly cloudy yet still sky, I thought, "WHAT?" So after some discussion with Rene we decided to head home to check out what the TV was saying just in case. When we got home the TV was saying a funnel cloud is located at such and such but it's not a serious tornado just a land spout tornado, it's still a tornado but not a really dangerous one. What do you do with a message like that? Us we went to IHOP.
Rained a lot and I do mean a lot like an inch and a half which given that in some months that is the total rain fall is a whole lot for Lubbock. My grass looks green but so do the weeds.
Took four students to regional science fair this weekend and they all did very good. Two of them qualified for state which some lunkhead scheduled for Easter weekend in San Antonio. So looks like I'll be heading that way for Easter.

Well here I am the Wednesday of Spring Break. I am glad to report that this Spring Break we have not been doing much of anything except chilling, watching some TV, playing some on the computer, and sleeping a lot. I know, I know Mom how can we sit still for that long. I don't know for sure but I am glad that we have this oppurtunity to just relax.
I did manage to prune one rosebush and fertilize it and prep some space for staining for tommorow. I even got to write a little bit of skittage for the church. Don't know if it's any good or not but it's good to flex the rusty writing skills a little.
Tonight we are actually venturing out to do some drama stuff and have bible study.
It is sooooo good to be at home, not traveling just recuperating. There has been a lot of needless drama at school lately. Coaches bumping heads and science fair madness and I really needed to get away.
Hope the rest of you guys get a chance to take a break eventually.
