It is finally finished

So after a year of sanding, stripping, and staining the kitchen cabinets and panelling, I am finally done. It looks great but man did it take a long time and a lot of work.

Of course I couldn't do all that work on the cabinets and not do something with the knobs and pulls.

And here is the kitchen as it looks now, you can also see the tile floor. I think it all came together nicely.

An ode to a new power tool

Ah a new power tool
Clean and sparkly
Able to make straight cuts, miter cuts, beviled cuts without a pause
So loud and dangerous
Able to cut off my hand or scar me for life
How I love you table saw

Nothing much new to report

Sorry family. This will have to be one of the boring enteries. No pictures (you are a little obsessed with them). I am going about my daily life trying to establish some kind of routine. It's hard. I am not a very well self-motivated scheduling kind of girl. I am easily distracted by the television, the computer, squirels. You know anything.
Today is Rene's and my 7th anniversary. I didn't actually realize it was the 15th. I lose track of time when I have no responsibilities. But it is the 15th and we have been married for 7 years which seems strange.
No cute pictures changed to black and white for me but hey Emily could always but some up on her blog.
Okay so that's the ramble for today. Maybe I'll look for some pictures later.

Me, my birthday, and fireworks

So I am officially 31 years old. Scary, much like Jonathan I think I might be an adult but probably not. Didn't do a whole lot for my birthday, I was still recovering from the trip to California. However I did manage to get to do some fireworks. You know me and fire, and bright lights, and danger go hand in hand. So here's some pictures of me and the fireworks. And yes mom that is me holding a roman candle and firing it into the air.... Sorry :)
