A snowy thanksgiving

Rene and I went to Snyder to do Thanksgiving with his family this year. It was not quite as relaxing as we had hoped because one of his aunts passed away the Sunday before Thanksgiving. This meant there were people in the house every night from 8-midnight every day for a rosary. We snuck out one night just to get away. Of course there is not much to do in Snyder so we ended up at Dairy Queen.

In other news it snowed for most of the day on Thanksgiving and on the day we left, Sunday. It was a lot of fun to play with all the nieces and nephews in the snow. It was not alot of fun to drive back in the snow.

Here are some pictures of us and the snow.

This is a picture of me and Roselia and Neftali, Roselia was particularly excited about sliding in the snow

This is a picture of Rene with snow in his eyelashes. This was the day we left to come back to McKinney. It was snowing a ridiculous amount. These big, wet snowflakes.

This is a picture of me and the snow after I had been out for awhile playing with the kids.

That's all for now.
